“Instagram-famous” model Morgan Osman was on her way to surprise her mother, who was about to be released from prison, when her viral plane crashed.
Osman, 35, had not spoken to her mother for seven years but decided to surprise her after her release from York Correctional Institute after making contact through a family member.
Her mother, Mindy McGloin, 55, served a six-month sentence earlier this year for violating her probation after being found guilty in 2022 of breach of peace, drunken driving and criminal mischief.
The brunette model boarded the plane from Miami to Connecticut on September 14 – the day before her mother was scheduled to be released – but didn’t make it after her screaming match with another passenger.
“I have always told the truth. “I wrote about my mother being an addict and an extremely abusive mother,” Morgan told . “I don’t even know what she was in prison for.”

Her mother, Mindy McGloin, 55, (left), served a six-month prison sentence for violating her probation earlier this year after previously being found guilty in 2022 of breach of the peace, drunk driving and criminal breach of trust.
She said: “My mother contacted my aunt when she was in prison and asked her for my number while she was there.”
“I started talking to her and tried to prepare her for her exit. My goal on the plane was to surprise her and pick her up because I hadn’t seen her in seven years.
“My mother gave birth to us too young and she has mental problems. She shouldn’t have had any of us so young, plus her mental health should have suffered.
“She fathered me and my brothers from different fathers, my grandparents took very good care of my older brother.” I stuck with her.
“It was a very volatile and unhappy time for me.” I had a really bad childhood but I became a really great person.
“I am 35 years old. I don’t feel guilty and everything is fine. I hadn’t seen her in seven years. The last time I saw her, I went there, gave her $3,000 and set her up really well.’
York Correctional Institution staff confirmed that McGloin was released from her custody on September 15, the day after Osman attempted to enter the facility.
McGloin has multiple criminal convictions since at least 2014 and was convicted of violating the conditions of her release in 2018 as well as trespassing.

“I have always told the truth. “I wrote about my mother being an addict and an extremely abusive mother,” Morgan told . “I don’t even know what she was in prison for.”
In 2019, the mother of three was found guilty of disorderly conduct and given a 90-day suspended sentence.
In 2014, she was given a one-year suspended sentence after being found guilty of prostitution, a Class A misdemeanor.
McGloin denied the prostitution allegations at the time. Her daughter added that it was a “set-up” and that her mother went to court after her conviction to fight the allegations.
Osman said she tried to get on a JetBlue flight to Connecticut, where she grew up, two hours earlier, but it was canceled.
She rebooked on American Airlines to get there before colliding with a passenger sitting next to her who she claimed shouted at her – adding that business class was not available on any of the flights.
“I’m having a nervous breakdown. “I’m starting to cry my eyes out,” she said. “I think I’ve been planning this for a month.” My whole family is waiting. I have a great family. They had all prepared dinner and it was a really big deal.
She added: “I’m very nervous. And I’m the sweetest girl until you fuck with me. I surprise my mother. I’ll just keep pushing. I’m there for a day just to pick her up.
“She has no idea I’m coming.” I sent her money to prison. And I hadn’t seen her in seven years, I know she has these issues and it breaks my heart.
“I let people borrow money that I don’t even have. I am an angel and I help everyone who needs it.” And I would never leave my mother without her.
“My family had just prepared dinner when I got there. My brother helped his girlfriend give birth on her bedroom floor, it was incredible.”

“I plan on going back there, and now I laugh and say I’ll go back to economy class if I need to!”
As she boarded the plane, according to Osman, she had an altercation with the woman she was sitting next to, who started talking about her while she was on the phone with a friend.
Osman said she told the woman that she tried to see her mother but decided to get off the plane so the situation didn’t escalate.
“I called the girl a bum because she had her phone out, not because she was flying economy class,” she said. “The picture of me on a private jet wasn’t planned at all, it just all came together.”
She added: “My new boyfriend has his own jet and was going to San Diego anyway, so I just went with him. “I don’t fly private, I won’t pay the money for it.
“I love JetBlue and will always fly with them when I can.” I fly private, I fly economy class, I take a damn Greyhound to see my mom if I have to.
“If your mother raises you because she is bipolar, manic-schizophrenic, or depressed, what do you think I will be? I’m a lunatic, but I’ve sorted myself out.”
