For its part, La 1 takes MasterChef Celebrity on a trip to the Mediterranean Maritime Park in Ceuta. As for the cinema, Movistar Clásicos broadcasts a comedy reference like “What’s wrong with me, doctor?” and TCM offers perhaps Alfred Hitchcock’s most popular work, Psycho.

“A Land of Reading”, in Tarragona

7:30 p.m., La 2

“What’s wrong with me, doctor?”

10 p.m., Movistar Classics

What's wrong with me, doctor? by Peter Bogdanovich

What’s wrong Doc? USA, 1972 (90 minutes). Director: Peter Bogdanovich. Cast: Barbra Streisand, Ryan O’Neal, Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars.

It takes a lot of confidence to tackle a blatant remake of Bringing Up Baby, but in the ’70s Peter Bogdanovich had plenty of guts. After two mournful works like “The Hero is Loose” and “The Last Movie,” the filmmaker decided to lighten his mood with this hilarious homage to the comedies of the 1940s, in which he used many of the visual forms of silent film. An unusual rarity, irregular if you will, but as commendable as it is complicit.

“MasterChef Celebrity” moves to Ceuta

10:30 p.m., 1

MasterChef Celebrity at the Mediterranean Maritime Park in Ceuta

The contestants of MasterChef Celebrity will face an outdoor duel that will take them to the Mediterranean Maritime Park in Ceuta, a leisure complex full of lakes, waterfalls and palm trees, where they will prepare a menu signed by chef Hugo Ruiz. Before them, they have prepared a dessert in the first challenge of the evening and in the elimination test they have to face the offal.

“The Rookie,” with Tamara Falcó

10:45 p.m., antenna 3

Joaquín and Tamara Falcó in The Newbie, broadcast on Antena 3

Tamara Falcó prepares Joaquín to be the perfect host on this week’s episode of The Rookie. The Marchioness of Griñón gives you the key to preparing a first-class menu and the perfect table decoration: from the choice of cutlery to the floral decoration. In addition, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Genoveva Casanova and Teresa Baca will join the program to bring their own perspective on the protocol and help Joaquín be the perfect host.

‘Psychosis’

24:00, TCM

Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock

Psycho. USA, 1960 (104 minutes). Director: Alfred Hitchcock. Cast: Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles.

By 1960, Hitchcock was already an icon for moviegoers and had just filmed two masterpieces, Vertigo and Death at His Heels. The maestro wanted to take a step forward and turn to a modest, low-budget film shot in black and white by a television crew. Almost 60 years later, “Psicosis” remains a monument of cinema, a black, obsessive and unhealthy work that shocks the viewer with the terror that comes from everyday life: from elements as simple as a disturbed look, a dark staircase or a hole in the wall.
