Americas Got Talent Announces Season 18 Winner and Confirms Season

SPOILER ALERT: The story contains details about the season 18 finale of NBC’s America’s Got Talent.

The 18th season of NBC’s summer staple America’s Got Talent concluded Wednesday night with a finale at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, culminating with Adrian Stoica & Hurricane announcing the winners.

Also on Wednesday night, NBC officially announced that America’s Got Talent has been renewed for Season 19, which will air next summer. Current judges Simon Cowell – who is also creator and executive producer – Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and host Terry Crews will all return. The castings are already underway.

The Season 18 finale featured the Top 11 finalists performing alongside guests including chef and television personality Cat Cora, songwriter Diane Warren, singers Jason Derulo and Leona Lewis, musician Jon Batiste, the Season 17 winner from America’s Got Talent, the Mayyas, and the band Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Italian dog trainer Stoica and his dog Hurricane won the show’s grand prize of $1 million and the chance to take part in the “America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live” stage show at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Here’s the moment the duo learned the news on stage:

Stoica and Hurricane have been performing around the world for about eight years. In 2017, Stoica reached the semi-finals of “Italia’s Got Talent” and in 2018 and 2022 he took part in “Romania’s Got Talent”. Below is her performance in the AGT finale:
