In an interview with the Wall Street Journal last Tuesday (September 26th), Mick Jagger spoke about the Rolling Stones catalog. The material is worth US$500 million, which is equivalent to about R$2.5 billion at current prices. According to the 80yearold artist, he intends to donate his share to charity instead of passing on the inheritance to his children.

When asked about the possibility of selling the catalog, he replied: “Kids don’t need $500 million to live well, come on,” he said. Mick Jagger also added that the decision to donate proceeds from more than 50 years of Rolling Stones could lead to “perhaps doing some good in the world.”

Mick Jagger is the father of eight children: Karis, Jade, Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, Gabriel, Lucas and Deveraux. The oldest heiress is 52 years old and the youngest is only six. Lucas is the son of the artist and presenter Luciana Gimenez.
