Warsaw: Rocket from Ukraine hit Poland

According to Polish investigations, a rocket that killed two people in southeastern Poland last November came from Ukraine. Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro said today that an investigation conducted by Polish prosecutors came to the “clear” conclusion “that this missile was a Ukrainian missile”.

The investigation determined the location “from where the rocket was fired,” Ziobro said. It was a Soviet-made bullet. Ziobro also lamented Ukraine’s lack of cooperation in the investigation.

The rocket hit the Polish village of Przewodow, near the border with Ukraine, in November, killing two people. At that time, Poland and NATO had already said that the impact was probably caused by a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile that was fired to repel Russian missile attacks. Ultimately, however, Moscow is responsible for the war of aggression against Ukraine.
