Tickets for the New York Jets’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night have increased by nearly 50 percent after it was announced that Taylor Swift would be there.
On Wednesday night, reports surfaced that Swift will be at MetLife Stadium to watch her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Chiefs.
Now, according to TickPick, many more fans want to be there.
In the 24 hours following news of Swift’s presence, the price of tickets on the resale site increased 43%, from $83 to $119.
TickPick also says that last Sunday’s game – where Swift saw Kelce for the first time in a 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears – sold the highest number of Chiefs tickets in a single day so far this season.

Ticket prices for Sunday’s game in the Big Apple have fallen slightly in recent weeks.
The game was supposed to pit Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, but Rodgers tore his Achilles on the fourth snap of his first game for his new team.
Since then, the Jets have struggled with Zach Wilson at quarterback and have lost their last two games.
Kelce, meanwhile, remained relatively tight-lipped when it came to Swift.
On his podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason of the Philadelphia Eagles, he said: “Kudos to Taylor for stopping.” That was pretty bold.
