problem solved
Delta confirmed to The US Sun that the issues with its mobile app and website have been resolved.
There was no impact on airport or flight operations.
Delta said in a statement: “Delta teams worked extensively behind the scenes to resolve a known issue from a technology provider that impacted customers’ ability to call Delta reservation centers and some functionality of the Fly Delta app for a short time on Thursday afternoon bothered.”

Reports have declined
Currently, only about 74 users are reporting issues with the Delta app and website.
Around 6:30 p.m. ET, reports began to decline.
Why the change?
Since Corona, Delta has seen a massive increase in elite travelers, leading to long lines in front of the coveted lounges.
“Frankly, we are at a point where we have such great demand for our premium products and services that it far exceeds our ability to effectively serve them in terms of our assets,” Mr. Bastian added .
He revealed that just since Covid, the airline has almost doubled the number of members with Diamond Medallion status.
CNBC also reported that Delta will announce the updated programming changes in the following weeks.
