Luísa Sonza changes the lyrics to “Chico” in the concert.
At the show on Friday evening (29) in Porto Alegre, the singer changed the verse “Chico, se tu me queres” to “Se caso me queres”. Before singing the track at the performance, she spoke to the audience and explained what the new version would be so those in attendance could sing along.
“To paraphrase Chico Buarque even more and sing, ‘If you want me, I’m one of those women…'” she told the audience. “This name is just a name. This name is Chico Buarques, this song is for Chico Buarque and me.”
