Google is on war footing to undertake several major projects. Already in October, the Mountain View company will present its new line of phones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, about which we already know almost everything. Two highly anticipated smartphones will succeed what appears to be a compelling generation.
But the Californian giant isn’t putting everything on the smartphone either. The race for artificial intelligence is clearly at the heart of its priorities. On this front, Google Bard is at the forefront. In addition, this chatbot recently received a major update: Thanks to “Extensions,” it can now interact with Gmail, YouTube, Maps and other Google applications. More new Bard products will be added in the future.
On the way to new Chromebook products?
For its part, Android 14 is about to be released. With this update some small new features will be available on our Android mobile devices. However, this does not affect the experience. Perhaps Android 15, expected in a year, will bring big changes to the operating system. In any case, we can hope for it.
While there is no concrete or official information about a WearOS overhaul, perhaps you can expect it. If so, we can expect Google to address the issue at the next Google I/O, which traditionally takes place in May. At this point there is nothing to confirm this.
Several leaks suggest that Google is working on new Chromebook products. Recently, mentions of Chromebook X and Chromebook Plus were spotted: this would better differentiate the cheaper Chromebooks from the higher-end models. We can also rightly expect new developments in this product category.
