Second accident in 2023
This is the second accident he has been involved in this year. In May, Zé Ottavio’s car collided with a horse on the BR153 between the towns of Colina and Brasilândia, municipalities in Tocantins.
At this point he was sitting in the passenger seat and the car was completely destroyed. He had a scratch on his arm and a burn from the airbag. The horse died.
The singer commented on the accident on social media: “An animal came onto the track and we couldn’t brake. We were slow, if we had been faster something worse would have happened. I fell into a hole. So the alternative was: I couldn’t brake and what happened happened,” he reported at the time.
