Chris Snow, vice president of analytics for the Calgary Flames, died Saturday at age 42.
Snow had been battling Lou Gehrig’s disease for some time and suffered a brain injury last Tuesday.
He was a father of two and had worked for the Flames since 2011. In June 2019, he learned that he had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and only had a few months to live.
Since then, he has defied the odds and continued to work for the Flames every day until his cardiac arrest.
We join the entire ice hockey community in mourning the loss of Chris Snow. Even while battling ALS, Chris dedicated his life to helping others and changing the lives of so many.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Kelsie and his children Cohen and Willa ❤️ pic.twitter.com/QkbQjMrlT7
