The actress speaks through the memory of her role in Plan B.
Anne-Élisabeth Bossé was on the set of the show TV children where she became very emotional.
When the actress saw a reminder of her role as a police officer in Plan B, she visibly felt strong emotions.
A flashback that reminded her of her father’s Alzheimer’s disease, as it was a role she would have wanted him to recognize the magnitude of.
“I really wanted to be able to play the role of a police officer because my father was a police officer. I channeled so many emotions into it that the role didn’t require either. I think I wanted to do something. My father was already suffering from Alzheimer’s and then… when the program was broadcast, I was at his house, he was already very, very advanced, then he didn’t recognize me. I was next to him. Then he saw it. I would have loved it so much that he would have given me his seal: “That’s how we were the patrolmen, that’s how we did it.” I don’t know what I was trying to do with this role, but my God (…) I’ve come a long way came. I’ve gone far for this, I think. Afterwards I am very proud of the result. I wore something while playing this role,” testifies the actress with tears in her eyes.
Melanie Maynard, Anne-Élisabeth, who is involved in the animation of the show, was also visibly touched by Anne-Élisabeth’s statement, as her mother also suffers from this terrible disease.
A touching moment on television.
