A fire at a nightclub in Spain kills 13 people
Thirteen people died in the fire, that devastated a group of nightclubs in the city, one of the largest in Spain.
In an interview with the local press this morning, Murcia’s Urban Planning Minister Antonio Navarro said that the La Fonda nightclub where the fire broke out lost its license last year after a renovation.
The original license, Navarro said, was issued in 2008 for a restaurant with nightclub space. However, that is The owners decided to divide the space into two different facilities.
