KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KCTV) – Beyoncé fans enjoyed the final stop of the Renaissance World Tour here in KC last night, but there was chaos leading up to the show.
Just before the show began at 8 p.m., there was the perfect traffic storm – Royals fans were leaving Kauffman Stadium after the final game of the season, at the exact same time that Beyoncé fans were trying to get to Arrowhead.
This led to hours of traffic jams, affecting thousands of fans and even causing some of them to abandon their cars just to avoid missing the concert.

One woman sat in these stuck lines for three hours.
“What’s up?” Faith Rivera asked. “This is unreal – this is from a movie. It was really interesting watching people get out of their cars to go to the concert and walk through the streets.”
Many fans chimed in at X, frustrated that there appeared to be no communication line from Arrowhead Stadium.
Mayor Quinton Lucas was one of those voices, saying: “As long as public transport and nearby high-density development are not part of the stadium design, some challenges – such as two events on the same day – will put a strain on car traffic.” As we host more and more events, “It’s important to rethink how we can move people in and out better!”
