NFL: The Giants humiliated again

The clock will be ticking slowly for New York Giants fans this season as their favorites were nearly silenced by the Seattle Seahawks in a 24-3 loss on Tuesday night at MetLife Stadium.

The local team’s quarterback, Daniel Jones, seemed to be the only one in the world on his side. Not only did he have 10 sacks, he also had to lead the way on the ground with 10 carries. Without a favorite goal, he was unable to make up ground and put himself in a position to score points.

The Seahawks also struggled with Parris Campbell in the pocket and had 11 sacks, which was their highest total since the Baltimore Ravens’ 21-0 win over the Tennessee Titans on October 14, 2018.

Jones also threw two interceptions, including one to Devin Witherspoon that turned into a touchdown. The rookie player took his shot with his legs and took the ball 97 yards.

For his part, Geno Smith was more discreet. He threw a pass into the end zone to DK Metcalf, but Seattle relied more on running back Kenneth Walker III. He completed 17 races and crossed the pay zone once.

The Seahawks (3-1) lost safety Jamal Adams in the first quarter. In his first game in a year and a half, he suffered a concussion after being hit in the head by Jones’ knee. Adams was excluded from the meeting, not without insulting the doctor who had come to check his health.

The Giants (1-3) have the worst offensive record in the NFL to date with 46 points scored in four games, including three in two home games. They defeated the Dallas Cowboys 40-0 at MetLife Stadium to open the regular season.
