Several people were injured on Tuesday morning when a driver crashed into a pharmacy in Sainte-Marie in the Beauce department after a bad maneuver.
The incident caused great excitement at the Jean Coutu pharmacy on Boulevard Vachon Nord around 11 a.m.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver of a certain age likely made a bad maneuver before crashing into the front of the establishment. His vehicle was completely lost in business.
At least four people inside were reportedly injured in the accident. Among them, a woman who was run over by the vehicle suffered more serious injuries.

“Several ambulance transports were necessary, but fortunately no one had to fear for their lives. Everyone is aware of it,” explains Béatrice Dorsainville, spokesperson for the SQ.

The damage assessment must be carried out when all injured people have been cared for and the scene of the accident has been secured.
