[VIDÉO] Club illico: See the first pictures of the second season of “Lac-Noir”

Out-of-control werewolf spreads fear and terror in a thriller Black LakeThe second season of which will be released on Club illico on October 26th.

In the first images released on Wednesday, we see police officer Valérie (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin) who has to deal with her son Dave (Anthony Therrien), who has in turn become a werewolf. The one who says she has never felt so much danger as she does now wants to cure Dave with the serum that Mathieu (Victor Andres Trelles Turgeon) developed before his death.

As the full moon approaches, the members of the pack become worried, especially since a journalist (Nico Racicot) is lurking in the village.

We also meet two members of the werewolf Senate, the head of the Canadian department, Gabriel (Guy Nadon), and the new senator Raphaël (Henri Picard). Both examine the tragic events of the first season, when the secret of the existence of werewolves was almost revealed on the evening of the red moon. The leader of the pack, the butcher Eddy (Normand D’Amour), begins to falter because he also has to explain the death of his son Cédric (Pierre-Alexis St-Georges).

Vaults are used by werewolves to ensure they can’t do any damage if they transform into a beast. This is the case with Dave, who continues his relationship with Jade (Laurie Babin), who turned him into a werewolf.

The second season also highlights the talent of actors Pierre-Paul Alain, Louis-David Morasse and Victoria Sanchez. They join the original cast, which also includes Andreas Apergis, Stéphane Demers, Maxime Gibeault, Marie-Evelyne Lessard and Isabelle Miquelon.

Return of Adrien Morot

Special effects makeup specialist Adrien Morot, who won the Oscar for best makeup and best hairstyle last March – along with his colleagues Anne Marie Bradley and Judy Chin – for his work on “The Whale,” worked in This second season once again stars on the set of Lac-Noir and is directed by Frédérik D’Amours and produced by Pixcom, in collaboration with Quebecor Content. The intrigues are also the work of Charles Dionne, Martin Girard and Frédérik D’Amours.
