Milei is ahead with 32.2% of voting intentions in Argentina

Election polls by the consulting firm CB E Circuitos show the candidate for the presidency of Argentina in first place

Two new election polls from the consulting firms CB and Circuitos, published this Wednesday (October 4, 2023) by the Clarín newspaper, show that Argentina’s presidential candidate and winner of the country’s primaries, Javier Milei, is in first place. The first round of Argentine elections will take place on October 22nd.

In the CB advisory survey, Milei from the La Libertad Avanza party appears with 32.2% of voting intentions. Close behind is Economics Minister Sergio Massa (Unión por la Patria) with 28.9%.

The centerright candidate from the Juntos Por el Cambio coalition, Patricia Bullrich, is in third place with 23.7%. The candidates Juan Schiaretti (Hacemos por Nuetro País) and Myriam Bregman (Frente de Izquierda) got 3.1% and 2.1% respectively. Another 6.2% said they didn’t know who to vote for and 3.8% voted blank.

For the survey, 4,072 people were interviewed online from September 25th to 28th, 2023. The error rate is 1.5 percentage points.

The other survey by the consulting firm Circuitos shows Milei at 34.6%. The government candidate has 31.2% of voting intentions. Bullrich appears with 24.8%.

Schiaretti has 1.9% of voting intentions and Bregman 1.8%. Another 2.4% said they would vote blank, 1.1% would not vote and 2.2% didn’t know how to answer.

Like the CB advice survey, the Circuitos study was conducted online from October 25th to 28th. The margin of error is 3.5 percentage points and 2,188 people were surveyed.

On September 29, the Perfil newspaper published an Atlas Intel poll and reported that Massa was ahead in the presidential race with 30.7% of voting intentions in the first round.

Milei took 2nd place with 27.9%. The two candidates were equal within the margin of error. Bullrich had 27.7% of the voting intentions, Juan Schiaretti and Myriam Bregman had 4.8% and 2.1% of the votes, respectively. Another 3.8% said they didn’t know, 1.8% were white and 1.4% didn’t have the right to vote.

For the survey, 3,778 people were interviewed online from September 20th to 25th, 2023. The margin of error is 2 percentage points (percentage points) and the confidence interval is 95%.
