It’s not just Catherine Tait and Michel Bissonnette who benefit from business class among Radio-Canada/CBC executives when they need to travel outside the country.

The senior vice president of corporate development, Claude Galipeau, was also able to cross the Atlantic by avoiding the economic section, according to expense reports consulted by Le Journal.

In September 2019, a trip to Helsinki and Amsterdam to attend a conference of international public broadcasters cost more than $6,500 in airfare.
In November 2021 he went to the Frankfurt Book Fair: his plane ticket cost more than $3,000.
In June 2022, he flew to London and Frankfurt on plane tickets priced at $6,175.
In March 2023, Mr. Galipeau returned to Frankfurt and his plane ticket cost him more than $3,300.
In total, he spent almost $19,000 on his flights abroad.
