Kris Jenner stepped out of her comfort zone a little on this week’s episode of The Kardashians and starred in a music video for Meghan Trainor.
The 67-year-old Kardashian-Jenner patriarch, who recently returned from Paris Fashion Week, said on the season four premiere that she wanted to “get off the rat race a little bit and enjoy life,” adding that she normally Saying “yes” would mean too many things and get “spread out.”
While she admitted that she would normally say “no” to a music video – although she appeared in Ariana Grande’s “Thank U Next” in 2018, she said “yes” to appear in Trainor’s “Mother” video.
She admitted during the shoot that she didn’t even tell her children about it, adding that she was afraid her children wouldn’t like it.
Even Kim Kardashian admitted that she found it “so embarrassing,” even though she was ultimately proud of her mother.

Kris then tells Corey over dinner, “Meghan Trainor wrote a new song and the name of the song is I Am Your Mother and she asked Shelly to ask me if I wanted to be in her music video.”
Corey says, “Oh, nice.” Don’t wear see-through clothing, that’s my only thing. “I don’t know what’s happening in these videos these days.”
“I think that normally I would pass, but something tells me this would be really fun,” says Kris, while Corey adds, “If it makes you happy, then do it.”
“This is really the year that I only say yes to things that I really want to do.” “I think I’m going to tell Shelly that it’s a hard yes from me… and from Corey,” Kris says, while Corey jokes that he’ll give her a “hard yes” later.
Back in Los Angeles, Kris is on the set of Meghan Trainor’s music video. Kris wears an elaborate white dress with a diamond necklace and earrings.
“I said yes to it because it was fun, glamorous and Hollywood-like. “I hope I can live up to Meghan’s expectations of what we do here today because I don’t want to let her down, but this is really a lot of work,” Kris says in the confessional.
Kris shoots a video with Meghan Trainor herself, seemingly for her social media, before they begin producing the video.
Taking direction from director and choreographer Charm La’Donna, Kris confessively adds, “It’s such an amazing experience.” It’s the music business. It is exciting. It’s glamorous. It is wonderful. But it is difficult. “It’s not as easy as it looks.”

Kris takes another take and gets to the point as the director jumps up and down with joy.
“I have this fear that if I tell my kids, they’re going to ask me, ‘Why do you want to be in a music video, Mom?’ ‘Why would you do that?’
They show footage from the finished video, with Kris admitting in the confessional, “As much as I’d love to share this amazing experience with them, I think when it’s all said and done, I’ll just send them the tape.”
After Cici admits that she told Kim about the music video shoot, Kris video calls Kris from the set,” as Kim says, “Oh my God.”
Kim admits in the confession, “So at first I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is going to be so embarrassing.’ And I was just afraid that she wouldn’t know what she was doing, but she killed it. “You know, in life you just have to have fun and try new things, and why not.”
They return to the set, where Kris is hugged by Meghan and the director and thanks everyone.
After wrapping up, a producer asks Kris what it was like and Kris says, “It was so much fun.” It was really great to be part of such a professional, fabulous production. “Making music videos is a bit unusual at my age, but I’m really glad I did it because I had the time of my life.”
