Victoria Beckham has spoken of being humiliated by thousands of football fans during the 1998 World Cup.
In the new Netflix documentary titled Beckham, the 49-year-old former Spice Girl recalls the abuse she suffered during an England game against Argentina, where her husband was playing.

At the time, the now 48-year-old sportsman was blamed for England’s defeat against Argentina after he attacked player Diego Simeone, sparking a flood of criticism and insults from England fans.
When the crowd got tired of picking on him, they began targeting his wife.
“Posh Spice takes it in the ass,” said the singer and fashion designer, revealing the lyrics to her song.
“Excuse my language, not very feminine. But 75,000 people are singing this, it’s embarrassing, it’s hurtful.”

She continued: “I remember sitting down and the lady next to me turned around and didn’t know what to say. She said, ‘Would you like a mint?’ ‘Cause what do you say when you’re sitting next to someone and 75,000 people are saying you’re taking it in the ass?’
David Beckham said the “terrible” singing actually “stimulated” him.
“When the fans thought they could reach me by singing about my family, I ended up scoring a goal,” he explained.
