Cassidy Hutchinson reveals a “very strong fear” of Trump – HuffPost

Former White House adviser Cassidy Hutchinson says Donald Trump is very afraid of being poisoned.

She shared this tidbit with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday after he asked her how many times the former president threw ketchup at the wall, which sent her into a fit of laughter.

“Donald Trump has a – I don’t know if you know this… I don’t know, maybe people know, but he has a very strong fear of being poisoned,” she said.

“So he uses and prefers the small glass Heinz ketchup bottles because he likes to hear the ‘crack’ of his valet or whoever serves him his food.”

Kimmel said he always assumed this was because “his hands were so small they looked like a real ketchup bottle.”

“Do you think he got this fear of being poisoned from all the ex-wives?” he asked.

“Or is it Russia?” Hutchinson quipped back.

“No, I don’t think Russia is poisoning him,” Kimmel said sharply.

Trump’s fear was also reported on in 2018 by journalist Michael Wolff, who wrote in his book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” that Trump’s “long-standing fear of being poisoned” was one of the reasons why he liked to eat at McDonald’s.

Hutchinson, who served as a top adviser to Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified before the committee on January 6 last year that Trump threw his lunch across a room during a meltdown in December 2020, leaving broken dishes on the floor and I left dripping ketchup down the wall.

She said he did so after learning that then-Attorney General Bill Barr had told the press that there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud in this year’s presidential election.

Hutchinson appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” while promoting her book “Enough.”
