80 professionals from Quebec in Cannes

A total of 80 professionals from Quebec’s television industry will travel to Cannes. They are brought together under the auspices of the Cultural Enterprise Development Corporation (SODEC) as part of its Creative Quebec initiative.

Several producers, including Nicola Merola, President of Pixcom, Josette Normandeau, President and Producer of Ideacom International, and Michael Prupas, Founder and Chairman of Muse Entertainment, will attend the International Drama Co-Production Breakfast.

Since money is the lifeline of war, especially in these difficult times for television in Quebec, SODEC will establish connections between Quebec producers and international buyers specializing in children’s television during MIPJUNIOR, an event preceding MIPCOM. These foreign buyers are HOP (Israel), SVT (Sweden), Paramount (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Pop Channels (UK), HR (Germany) and Bein (Middle East and North Africa).
