The family animated film The Legend of the Butterfly was previewed in Montreal on Thursday evening at the Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
Several of the stars who voice the characters in the feature walked the red carpet for the occasion, including Antoine Desrochers, Catherine Brunet, Sophie Cadieux, Rodley Pitt and Ludivine Reding.
The singers Coeur de Pirate, La Zarra and Claudia Bouvette, who performed songs to the film’s music, were also present at the screening.
Produced by Marie-Claude Beauchamp (La guerre des tuques 3D) and directed by Sophie Roy, “The Legend of the Butterfly” tells the story of Patrick, a courageous butterfly who dreams of undertaking the great journey of the monarch butterfly migration if this is not possible fly because of a smaller wing.
The film will be shown across Quebec on Friday, October 13th.
