Angina pectoris sufferer Michel Sardou announced on Friday the postponement of two dates of his brand new tour, Friday and Saturday in Le Mans and Angers.

The concerts in Le Mans (Antarès) and Angers (Arena Loire Trélazé) have been postponed to February 27 and March 9, 2024, the singer announced on Instagram, adding that he and his producers apologize “for the inconvenience caused “.

Michel Sardou, 76, had just begun this new tour, “I Remember a Farewell,” with a concert in Rouen on Wednesday.

The tour of more than 60 dates is scheduled to last until March 2024, including two concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena, the largest indoor venue in Europe (up to 40,000 seats).

The next announced date is October 10th in Brussels. Michel Sardou is expected in Montreal and Quebec on October 27th and 28th.

Sardou, one of the biggest record sellers of French songs, announced his decision to stop singing in 2017, which he eventually reversed.

His last tour, completed in 2018, brought together more than 450,000 spectators.
