WWE SmackDown Results for October 6, 2023 – Catch-Newz

– Tonight is WWE SmackDown, the blue show begins with footage of what happened last week with John Cena, LA Knight and the Bloodline. Then the SmackDown intro airs and the commentators greet us. LA Knight enters but is interrupted by Paul Heyman, who arrives with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.

Paul Heyman says he is able to spot the “next big thing” in this industry, he knows the next big megastar will be LA Knight. The latter deserved his respect. LA Knight says he appreciates what Paul Heyman just said, but he won’t believe all his nonsense. Jimmy Uso tells him to shut up, they’re here to tell LA Knight he won’t make it to Fastlane.

The Bloodline surrounds the ring, but John Cena enters the ring, forcing the Bloodline back. LA Knight gets back on the mic and says everyone is talking about Fastlane, but he’s thinking about tonight. What if Jimmy Uso faced him tonight? Jimmy Uso agrees, while Paul Heyman seems to disagree.

– Judgment Day is in the parking lot. JD McDonagh appears and Damian Priest asks what he is doing there. Rhea Ripley replies that she was the one who asked him to be there.

Tag team match

Asuka & Charlotte Flair vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley & Iyo Sky)

At the end of the match, Bayley attempts a figure-eight leglock on Charlotte Flair, but Flair knocks her toward the ropes and Bayley accidentally knocks Iyo Sky off the ring screen. Flair continues his natural selection against Bayley and wins by pinfall.

Winners: Asuka and Charlotte Flair

– Behind the scenes, Paul Heyman still doesn’t agree with Jimmy Uso’s decision, but Jimmy notes that Roman Reigns is never there to agree. The Bloodline enters the locker room, but Judgment Day is already here. Jimmy Uso tells them they’re not in the right place, Damian Priest tells him they’re in the right place.

Back from commercial break, Judgment Day and Bloodline face off, Rhea Ripley tells everyone to leave because she and Paul Heyman need to talk. Priest stands in front of Sikoa, then Ripley tells him to leave.

Single game

Bobby Lashley accompanied by the Street Profits against Rey Mysterio accompanied by the LWO

At the end of the match, Rey Mysterio does his 619 on Bobby Lashley and then tries to follow up with a frog splash from the third rope, but Montez Ford climbs onto the ring apron. The LWO attacks the Street Profits and a brawl breaks out at ringside. Rey Mysterio jumps on the Street Profits outside the ring and then gets back in the ring…Bobby Lashley spears him to win by pinfall!

Winner: Bobby Lashley

– Paul Heyman and Rhea Ripley are talking backstage. Ripley tells him that they are stronger together, Judgment Day and Bloodline. Paul Heyman likes the idea, but he has to make a call before he accepts. He needs the approval of Roman Reigns. Rhea Ripley tells him to recognize her, Paul Heyman replies that this isn’t the place to say that. Ripley tells him to recognize her, just like Jey Uso did on RAW, or Judgment Day will show who is the strongest. Rhea Ripley leaves and Paul Heyman calls out Roman Reigns.

Single game

Austin Theory, accompanied by Grayson Waller vs. Dragon Lee

At the end of the match, Dragon Lee flies over the top rope onto Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. He sends Theory back into the ring, but is attacked behind the referee’s back by Grayson Waller, who sends him back into the ring. Thoery carries Lee for his A-Town Down, but Cameron Grimes comes in to attack Grayson Waller. Theory gets distracted and is countered by Dragon Lee with a roll-up for the win.

Winner: Dragon Lee

– Backstage, Rey Mysterio Santos informs Escobar and Zelina Vega that Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde are not allowed to wrestle. Mysterio says he will make a call.

– A video airs about the rivalry between Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins, then the commentators present the Fastlane card.

– Next week for the SmackDown season premiere: Roman Reigns will be back / Pretty Deadly will face the Brawling Brutes / Triple H will be there!

Single game

Jimmy Uso accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman against LA Knight

At the end of the match, LA Knight prepares his BFT on Jimmy Uso, but Solo Sikkoa attacks him! The referee ends the game.

Winner: LA Knight (by disqualification)

– After the match, Solo Sikoa continues his attack, but John Cena is coming and sends Sikoa over the top rope! Last Judgment music plays and the clan arrives. Ripley shakes Paul Heyman’s hand and then tells Judgment Day to get in the ring. All members of Judgment Day and Bloodline are on the ring apron… but Jey Uso comes to help John Cena and LA Knight! Cody Rhodes Next, Paul Heyman Solo knocks Sikoa out of the ring and then a fight breaks out!

John Cena finds himself alone in the ring, Solo Sikoa comes towards him and the two wrestlers follow each other’s punches, then Sikoa lands a superkick on Cena. LA Knight comes in and takes him over the top rope. It’s JD McDonagh’s turn to get back in the ring, LA Knight manages to hit him with his BFT, Jey Uso follows with a superkick, then John Cena does his five knuckle shuffle followed by the AA. Cody Rhodes finishes with a CrossRhodes against JD McDonagh and the show ends with a celebration from the wrestlers.
