The journeys of Leif, Freydís and Harald come to an end, but not without one last adventure.
On Friday, October 6, Netflix announced that Vikings: Valhalla will end with season three, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2024, according to multiple publications, including Deadline.
Along with the big reveal, Netflix has released a series of first-look images that are a sure sign that Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett) and Freydís Eiríksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson) have more highly dramatic adventures ahead say goodbye to them before you set off into the sunset.
The historical drama series, created by Jeb Stuart, serves as a sequel to the historical drama Vikings (2013-2020), created by Michael Hirst, which ran for six seasons on History Channel and Prime Video.
Set 100 years after the events of the Vikings, Valhalla begins with depictions of the St. Brice’s Day Massacre in 1002. It is expected to end with the end of the Viking Age, marked by the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066 will be marked.

As the storyline chronicles the beginning of the end of the Viking Age, it follows Leif, his sister Freydis and the Norwegian Prince Harald as they fight for survival in this ever-changing world.
