The new film dedicated Fantastic 4 It’s undoubtedly one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most anticipated projects, but according to director Matt Shankman, it could also prove to be one of the most innovative.
With the writers’ strike over and waiting for the developments of the actors’ strike, it now only seems that the first official information about the film will be distributed question of time. The plot is still being kept tightly under wraps while no official announcements have been received regarding the cast. According to Shankman, it is actually a new film dedicated to Fantastic 4 it will differentiate in many ways different from any other Marvel Studios production seen to date:
It will be different in many ways. I wish I could be specific. But from a story perspective, we approach things very differently, with a cinematic approach that really fits the source material. I wish I could say more, I wish I could, but I can’t. But I think so It will be unlike anything you have ever seen beforeand it will certainly be unlike any other Marvel production you’ve seen to date.
The director then gave a detailed analysis of the enormous work of Pre-production of the film, which apparently runs continuously and without any particular disturbances:
We work tirelessly. Despite the strikes, we worked on effects and production design and built our world, and it was incredibly exciting. You know, how do these skills translate into live action in a dynamic way? Because some things that work wonderfully in the comics by John Byrne and Jack Kirby are a little more difficult when you actually have to make them into a film. How do you make sure things are exciting but also based on scientific plausibility, which is also part of the Fantastic 4 I love? There are a few reasons for this I’m super excited But like I said, I can’t say too much.
Shakman then offered some updates on this resumed Specifying the period in which they should begin:
We’ll definitely be in front of the cameras next year, probably in Spring. Filming takes place at Pinewood Studios in London.
The film’s script is written by Josh Friedman, fresh from his work on Avatar: The Way of Water, who is asked to work on the first version of the script previously created by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. It has also been widely confirmed that the new film dedicated to Fantastic 4 will not tell a story, unlike the duology produced by Fox between 2005 and 2007 Origin storybut it will already present the team in full strength.
