Big Brother bosses ‘cast beauty queen Noky Simbani to represent Britain in Miss Universe as housemate for new series’

A beauty queen who represented Britain in the Miss Universe pageant is set to become a housemate on Big Brother on Sunday night.

According to The Sun, 26-year-old Noky Simbani is set to be one of 16 people entering the show’s famous home for the revamped ITV2 series.

It is claimed that Noky is single and works in finance, having earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering.

Previously, she traveled to India to spend time with women disfigured by acid attacks.

A TV source told the newspaper: “Noky is an ideal roommate.” Not only is she beautiful, she also has brains and a fantastic personality.

“Several casting producers were keen to sign her up for reality shows.

“But she didn’t want to choose something too obvious like Love Island.

“She felt like BB was showing that there was more to her than just her looks.”

A Big Brother spokesperson told Web: “The housemates for the new series of Big Brother will be announced in the launch show at 9pm tomorrow night on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.”

The new and improved Big Brother house is ready and waiting for the new housemates to move in.

After ITV2 released photos of the garden on Friday, fans finally got a look inside the house ahead of Sunday’s release at 9pm.

The interior of the home features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and seating area all in one room.

The room is dominated by two large semi-circular sofas placed under a flat-screen TV.

This is likely where housemates will gather for Big Brother’s live evictions and house announcements.

In the middle of the room is a long, slim dining room with 16 chairs, seven on each side and one at each end.

Housemates receive plenty of natural light during their stay as a glass window on the roof overlooks the living area.

To the right of the dining area is the kitchen with an elegant green worktop and matching cabinets.

There is a wooden island with a fuchsia countertop and five chairs where some roommates can enjoy breakfast.

While the Big Brother house has almost always been a bungalow, this year’s house features an upstairs area.

Just above the kitchen is another living area with a beige couch and a brick wall covered in love hearts.

Roommates hoping for some privacy up there are out of luck, however, because one wall is made entirely of glass, so everyone downstairs can see who’s there.

Speaking about the bedroom, a source told Web: “The bedroom features two double beds on either side of the room, surrounded by pink mood lighting, so would-be couples will undoubtedly have a perfect love nest for their loved ones.”

“There is no privacy for noisy sleepers as there is a hairdryer in the bedroom, meaning there could be some tired and irritable housemates.”

As for the bathroom, they added: “Privacy seems to be a luxury in the house, with two glass showers and a huge bathtub, meaning housemates can’t escape Big Brother’s watchful eye.”

Unlike previous years, this year’s home puts sustainability at the forefront, with an outdoor water tank that captures rainwater that will fill the hot tub.

In years past, the smoking area has been a staple of house conversations and gossip, but this year it will be kept away from the cameras and there will only be one microphone to record dramatic discussions.

This year’s home also features a cheeky nod to its reality TV rival Love Island and features an outdoor fireplace.

It was also revealed that 30,000 people had applied to take part in the show, although bosses are not saying exactly how many housemates will move in on launch night.

Big Brother starts on Sunday October 8th at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.

Big Brother 2023: Duty of care protocols complete

Housemates must undergo a social media ban, attend “respect and inclusion training” and have access to one-on-one sessions to support their mental health before, during and after the show.

Respect and Inclusion Training will outline expectations regarding language use and acceptable behavior in the House of Representatives.

Prior to filming, all housemates underwent psychological and medical assessments, including evaluations by an independent doctor, mental health professionals and information reports from each housemate’s primary care physician.

The housemates were also required to confidentially disclose any medical histories and other information that would be relevant to their participation in Big Brother.

Additionally, their family members and friends are asked not to post content on their individual social accounts during their time in the House of Representatives due to a social media shutdown.

ITV also said the housemates had been given information about the experience of taking part in Big Brother including the possible positive and negative effects.

Participants will also undergo a series of background checks, including checking their social media by an independent specialist service.

The show’s welfare team and other members of the editorial and production team received training in mental health first aid and “respect and inclusion”.

According to ITV, the team have outlined Big Brother’s expectations of appropriate behavior and language.

Housemates are also provided and discussed the Housemate Rules, which outline expectations and explain important aspects of life in the Big Brother House.

Mental health professionals will be available to the Housemates for ongoing support throughout their time in the House.

The Big Brother welfare team also supports friends and family through regular contact and updates.

After leaving the Big Brother House, there will be individual training on how to deal with social media and the press.

A mandatory session with a psychologist is also offered immediately after a roommate leaves the house.

Further support sessions will be tailored specifically to a roommate’s individual needs and support will continue until mental health professionals have agreed an end date for each individual roommate.

Contact from the Head of Welfare will continue for a period of 14 months after the end of the series and additional help will also be offered if required.
