Nelson Rubens is relieved of command at TV Fama

Presenter Nelson Rubens, 86, fell in his home and broke his collarbone, the bone in the upper part of his shoulder. Earlier this week he was taken to a hospital in São Paulo and eventually had to undergo reparative surgery. For this reason he was absent from TV Fama and will be away for the next few days to recover.
“I fell, injured my shoulder and collarbone and had to have surgery to glue the bone together. As teenagers we have to be careful with the collarbone, then, at a more mature age, with the hips,” he said jokingly. in a statement to TV Fama shown last night.
In the audio recording sent to the attraction, Nelson said the operation was carried out in the early hours of the morning and everything went well. He hopes to work at RedeTV again! later this week.
“Thank you for the messages. I hope to be back next week. I’m doing well. The operation here in São Paulo was great, everything is going well. I had surgery at 5am. I woke up at 3 a.m. to take a shower.” “I was already sleeping in the hospital,” the veteran added.
Nelson has been out of the program since last Monday (2), but the reason for his absence was not discussed in the program. Until he sent an audio recording, shown last Friday (6), which gave more details about his health condition.
It is the second time this year that the presenter is staying away from the gossip show for health reasons. He was banned from the attraction in May due to feeling unwell, but details were not disclosed.
