The post-GTA 6 already planned by Rockstar?
Five years after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, the industry giant still hasn’t released a single new title – the remastering of the GTA 3D trilogy and the recent port of Red Dead Redemption to PS4 and Nintendo Switch are not, strictly speaking, new titles. Of course, that’s a long time, especially since GTA 6 shouldn’t be released until 2025 if we go by the comments of Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
Regardless, the studio needs to plan its future well when the title is released. According to insiders and dataminers Tez2which is known for releasing all new features on GTA Online and Red Dead Online first, the future of R* could very well pass… Bully 2. Here’s what he says about it on gtaforums:
Maybe they’ll reconsider releasing Bully 2 after GTA VI. It was put aside, but It was the subject of two years of active development.
The sequel to the game released in 2006 (called Canis Canem Edit in France), which puts us in the shoes of a turbulent teenager sent to a private school to rule the roost, has been discussed internally for many years. In 2008 and into 2010, the title was in full development before being scrapped in favor of Max Payne 3 (released in 2012).

Here are some details before the film was shelved to focus on Max Payne 3:
– Started development from 2008 to 2010.
– With RDR2’s honor system.

Bully 2, finally concrete reality?
According to information from Tez2, the title would feature the same honor system as that used in Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as an open world three times the size of the original game. Of course, it’s better to exercise caution with such claims, but this isn’t the first time a reputable insider has been convinced that there’s something wrong with the license.
Shortly after the announcement of the development of GTA 6, journalist Tom Henderson said that he still believes that “there is something going on with the Bully series.”
