It is reported that the upcoming season of Channel Seven’s Big Brother could be its last.
According to a source, it will be the shortest season in Australian Big Brother history and the last that Seven is contractually obliged to produce, meaning the license for the show has yet to be awarded.
The season, originally called Big Brother: House of Love, was cast with individual contestants to make it more reminiscent of Channel Nine’s Love Island.

Unfortunately, none of the romances blossomed as the producers expected, forcing them to abandon the House of Love theme altogether.
The few relationships that actually formed have all since fallen apart, but participants were told to keep their dating lives off social media to avoid spoilers.
Despite the problems, a source at Seven is confident that long-time Big Brother fans will continue to love the new series.
