The world of showbiz took a step out of the spotlight on Sunday night as ordinary people from across the country applauded their heroics and individual bravery at the annual Pride Of Britain Awards.
The event took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, where a host of stars were in attendance to celebrate those members of the audience whose selfless acts have helped change – and in some cases even save – the lives of others.
Leading the way for the annual ceremony, Oti Mabuse commanded attention as she greeted viewers on the red carpet.
The 33-year-old professional dancer, who is expecting her first child with her 40-year-old husband Marius Lepure, looked glamorous in a black satin dress with embellished silver details.
She enhanced her height in black stilettos and her long raven locks were styled in a high ponytail.

TOWIE star Billie, 33, accessorized her look with a pair of sparkling diamond earrings and upped her height with a pair of gold heels.
To complete her outfit, she opted for subtle smokey eye makeup and styled her hair in an elegant updo.

The annual Pride of Britain Awards are taking place for the 24th time at London’s Grosvenor House, with Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo co-hosting the star-studded event.
The ceremony has been running since 1999 and celebrates the achievements of truly remarkable people from across the UK and from all walks of life – nominated by members of the public.
After a shortlist is drawn up from thousands of entries, the winners are selected by the Pride of Britain jury.
Although the ceremony takes place on Sunday evening, it will be broadcast on ITV on Thursday October 12th at 8pm.
The Pride Of Britain Awards honor winners in nine categories; TSB Community Hero Award, Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year, This Morning Emergency Services Award, Outstanding Bravery, Child of Courage, Prince’s Trust Young Achiever, Special Recognition and Outstanding Contribution.
Winners honored at the glittering event include murdered hero Lee Rigby’s son Jack Rigby, 13, and former rugby player Rob Burrow, as well as his wife Lindsay and best friend Kevin Sinfield.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror about his award, Rob said: “I’m inspired by the real, unsung heroes who make me proud to be British.”
“It’s even more special that I get to accept the award with my wife Lindsey and my amazing friend Kevin. “I’m so proud of them.”
A host of famous faces are expected to attend the party, however regular attendee Holly Willoughby will not be making an appearance.
The TV presenter has canceled her planned attendance at the annual awards show as she deals with a suspected kidnapping plot.
