Week 5 of the NFL season continues on Sunday!

The Jacksonville Jaguars began the day with a win against the Buffalo Bills at Wembley Stadium in London in the second of five international games scheduled for the 2023 season.

After six games in the 1 a.m. Eastern window, four games begin in the 4 a.m. Eastern window.

Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams

The Eagles start strong

Philadelphia opened the game with a 12-play touchdown drive that ended with Jalen Hurts hitting tight end Dallas Goedert for a 6-yard score.

Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals

Old reliable ones

After Arizona scored a three-and-out early in the game, Cincinnati put together an 11-play touchdown drive that ended with Joe Burrow hitting wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in a tight window for a 3-yarder -Score scored.

Tear it up

David Montgomery ran through and around the Panthers’ defense for a 42-yard Lions touchdown.

Capitalize on INT

Five plays after Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson dramatically intercepted Bryce Young, Jared Goff hit tight end Sam LaPorta for a 4-yard touchdown.

The Panthers mounted a 14-play touchdown drive that ended with Young hitting tight end Tommy Tremble for a goal-line score.

Done them!

Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds landed with both feet on the ball during a touchdown pass in the back of the end zone.

One play after Lions cornerback Jerry Jacobs tackled Young, Goff easily hit LaPorta for a 31-yard touchdown. Detroit led 28-7.

The Lions continue to score

Goff scored on a goal-line score, as shown below, and Craig Reynolds scored a 5-yard touchdown for Detroit later in the fourth quarter.

FINAL: Miami Dolphins 31, New York Giants 16

Waddle, waddle

Miami reached the end zone on its first possession when Tua Tagovailoa went left and threw the ball to wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who came down with the contested 2-yard touchdown grab.

The Dolphins handed the ball off to De’Von Achane, who ran through the Giants defense and scored a 76-yard touchdown.

The Dolphins reached the goal line, but Tagovailoa’s pass was tipped and intercepted by Jason Pinnock in the end zone, and the Giants safety ran it 102 yards for a touchdown.

Just throw it up

The Dolphins started the second half with a bang as Tagovailoa hit an open downfield strike from Tyreek Hill for a 69-yard touchdown. Raheem Mostert scored for a 2-yard score on Miami’s next drive.

The New York quarterback left the game early in the fourth quarter with a neck injury.

FINAL: Atlanta Falcons 21, Houston Texans 19

I can do this!

Shortly after a complex trick play in which wide receiver Drake London completed a 22-yard pass, as shown below, quarterback Desmond Ridder got the Falcons on the field with a 7-yard rushing touchdown. However, the Texans made three field goals and led 9-7 at halftime.

Falcons take the lead

Ridder brought the ball to running back Bijan Robinson, who maneuvered his way into the end zone for the Falcons. They then converted a two-point attempt and led 15-12.

Texans take the lead again!

CJ Stroud hit tight end Dalton Schultz for an 18-yard touchdown to give the Texans the lead with 1:49 left in the fourth quarter.

Hawks at the buzzer!

Ridder hit London for a 23-yard completion, putting the Falcons in field goal position. Moments later, Younghoe Koo scored a game-winning 37-yard field goal as time expired.

FINAL: Pittsburgh Steelers 17, Baltimore Ravens 10

Ravens strike

After punting on their first possession, the Ravens mounted a seven-play touchdown drive that ended with a 14-yard score by Justice Hill.

He’s hard to pin down…

Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers hauled in a first-down reception and then sent Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb the wrong way.

Security

Pittsburgh blocked a punt in the back of the end zone for a safety and scored a field goal on the ensuing possession. The Steelers trailed 10-8 with 7:10 left in the fourth quarter.

Change of leadership!

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was intercepted by Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. in the end zone for a touchback. Then, on the eighth play of the next possession, Kenny Pickett connected with wide receiver George Pickens for a 41-yard touchdown. However, Pittsburgh failed on a two-point attempt.

FINAL: Indianapolis Colts 23, Tennessee Titans 16

Run away

Jonathan Taylor may have just signed a new contract, but it was Colts running back Zack Moss who thundered down the field for a 56-yard touchdown.

Anthony Richardson out of

The Colts’ quarterback suffered a right shoulder injury and Gardner Minshew took over the position under center. Richardson was out for the rest of the game.

The Titans started the second half in style as Tyjae Spears ran a 19-yard touchdown on the fourth play of the drive.

Moss finished the Colts’ next drive with a 3-yard rushing score.

Colts safety Julian Blackmon intercepted Ryan Tannehill to end the game.

FINAL: New Orleans Saints 34, New England Patriots 0

Pick-6

The Saints defense came under pressure on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, whose pass attempt was intercepted and intercepted by safety Tyrann Mathieu, who ran the pick back to the house.

Punching in

Chad Ryland missed a 48-yard field goal for the Patriots and the Saints took advantage of the ensuing field position. Alvin Kamara capped an eight-play drive for the Saints with a 2-yard rushing score.

Build a lead

After forcing a three-and-out, New Orleans extended its lead to three points when Derek Carr hit wide receiver Chris Olave in the back of the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown.

Pour on

Six plays after catching an airborne ball for an interception, the Saints scored their fourth touchdown when Carr threw the ball forward to tight end Foster Moreau, who made his way into the end zone.

FINAL: Jacksonville Jaguars 25, Buffalo Bills 20

Toe tap TD

Jacksonville and Buffalo each punted on their first possession, but the former managed a touchdown drive the next time it touched the football. On the eighth play of the drive, Trevor Lawrence found wide receiver Zay Jones, who made a spectacular 6-yard touchdown catch in the back of the end zone.

Jacksonville elected to impose a harsh passer penalty on Buffalo defensive tackle Ed Oliver on a two-point attempt and moved the ball to the 1-yard line. Travis Etienne took part in the conversion.

Matt Milano out of

The Buffalo linebacker left the game with a knee injury and is reportedly in a full cast from his shin to his thigh.

Thrown on a line

Buffalo finally entered Jacksonville territory late in the first half and later reached the end zone. On the 11th play of the drive, Josh Allen threw a 15-yard bullet touchdown pass to wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The Bills trailed 11-7.

Etienne for 6

Both teams turned the ball over early in the fourth quarter, but the Jaguars got their lead back to two points minutes later when Etienne ran a 6-yard touchdown.

The Bills immediately responded with a touchdown of their own when Allen hit wide receiver Gabe Davis for a 19-yard touchdown. However, they failed on a two-point attempt and the Jaguars went right back to work.

Two plays after Lawrence hit wide receiver Calvin Ridley on a 32-yard completion to move the chains, Etienne ran through the Buffalo defense for a 35-yard touchdown. Jacksonville led 25-13 with 2:56 left in the fourth quarter.

GREAT catch leads to TD

Davis made a great 29-yard catch near the sideline for the Bills. Two plays later, Allen ran a 3-yard touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.
