The broadcaster fired the professional after he was caught admitting he had used his privacy to spread fake news

This is one of the most surreal and strange pieces of news this humble column has ever published. A “journalist” was recently fired from the channel he worked for after he leaked an audio recording in which he admitted without the slightest shame that he had a habit of making false statements live on the show he was participating in to spread news. Company management had access to the recording and his dismissal, which had been discussed for months, was carried out.
The situation was as follows: This professional had caused the television station to receive countless lawsuits for shouting live about various scandalous situations as if they were big news, but most of them were nothing more than lies. There were many outofcourt communications demanding a revocation because of fake news.
Until the last time, minutes before the show aired, one of the producers went into the studio to warn him that he would have to read a retraction on the teleprompter about another lie he had told live days before. And he was warned about the frequency of denials he received. When the “journalist” took the microphone, he published the following sentence (read with an arrogant tone): “I don’t care if it’s fake news or if it’s true. The most important thing is the buzz it creates on the Internet.”
Because his microphone was on and he didn’t make any effort to keep his voice low, everyone in the switchboard heard the sentence and was in disbelief. The audio recording was quickly forwarded to higher authorities until it ended up in the hands of the company owner, who ordered his immediate dismissal.
Within the canal were those fighting for its survival. A single person, actually. After all, the “journalist” has a habit of associating himself with powerful figures wherever he goes. But since the number of lawsuits the company received because of this figure was enormous, the dismissal was agreed to when the bosses learned that everything he did was done on purpose and with the simple aim of going “viral” on the Internet become.
I don’t know if you, dear reader, noticed that we put the word “journalist” in quotation marks to refer to the character in question from the beginning of the text. We did this for two reasons: The media professional does not have a higher education in journalism, but only a professional degree, which he completed in a few months. And also because all journalists in training undertake the final oath to always practice their profession truthfully.
Lying is in the DNA of this professional who has already created several false situations to gain media visibility. He has also been refused entry several times in the past to another company where he previously worked.
What the column can say is that this man’s firing completely changed the atmosphere at the station where he worked. The people there are happier without him. In his short time with the company, he was involved in several scandals, including episodes of hysteria and threats. But for now, let’s just leave it at this entry. The rest will be published at another time.
