At this point, the international community should take urgent action, the note said. In principle, all parties involved in the Middle East peace process, including Palestine and Israel, must work to create the conditions for the implementation of the two-state solution, which the United Nations has also been advocating for years.
“War or Peace? The Middle East is once again at a historic crossroads. The international community must take decisive and effective diplomatic action to urge both sides to end the violence as quickly as possible, exercise maximum restraint and, in particular, prevent conflicts from closing the window of opportunity for peace,” the judge ruled Asian publication.
