Honor the Magic Vs2 and Watch 4 Pro shown in teaser images ahead of release – notebookcheck.biz

Honor has not yet started selling the Magic V2 worldwide, although it was unveiled at IFA 2023 in Europe last month. Still, the company has started announcing a new foldable phone as well as a new smartwatch. For context, Honor only shared the following teaser on Chinese social media. It is therefore possible that the Magic Vs2 and the Watch 4 Pro will not initially be sold worldwide.

In any case, they will be officially presented on October 12th, i.e. in three days. Additionally, there have been few leaks about the two devices, which makes the short delay between Honor’s first teaser and release day rather surprising. The Magic Vs2 will launch a few months after the Magic V2, but it remains to be seen whether it will be a successor or a cheaper alternative.

Not much is currently known about Magic Vs2, other than the information contained in the single teaser image. So the Magic Vs2 appears to have thin bezels around the foldable screen, a blue color option like the Galaxy Z Fold5 and three cameras on the back. For reference, the inscription in the image below reads “Matrix Image 50 MP / f/1.9 – 2.4 / 16 – 62” and confirms that the device has a 50 MP primary camera with an aperture of 1.9 as well as a 16mm Ultra camera features. Wide-angle and 62mm telephoto cameras (f/2.4).

According to available information, Honor has also equipped the Magic Vs2 with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 Gen 1 processor. In addition, the design of the Watch 4 Pro is different from that of the Watch 4, whose screen is in the shape of a circle. In fact, the Watch 4 Pro looks more like a sequel to last year’s Watch GS 3, albeit with narrower screen bezels and a new button layout that integrates a digital crown.
