They had hidden their children, 10-month-old twins, in the shelter while the terrorists broke into their home. They were rescued by the Israeli army just 12 hours later. Today, more than 48 hours after the terrorist attack, fighting is still taking place in the kibbutz, one of over two hundred small communities that began as farming communities but over time developed into small self-sufficient towns, a symbol of the colonization of the Palestine desert.
