Colombian Migrants Month begins with a broad cultural agenda

The “Columbia Nos Une” initiative begins the celebration in honor of Colombians who, despite being outside this country, continue to make significant contributions in various fields, keeping the Colombian identity and culture alive in distant lands.

This month, various activities will be carried out aimed at highlighting the contribution of Colombians abroad and addressing the structural aspects that cause migration and promote peace.

Among the activities planned for this celebration, the exhibition and conversation “Looking at the Edge” stands out at the Congress of the Republic, with a photo exhibition and a space for dialogue dedicated to the comprehensive migration policy in Colombia.

Another highlight is the Migrant Film Festival, which will take place at the Fondo de Cultura Económica-Gabriel García Márquez cultural center, with the screening of the feature film Cantadoras: Memories of Life and Death in Colombia and the film The Invisible Steps through Latin America.
