Mia Khalifa is fired for defending the Hamas attack

Mia Khalifa, a model and former porn actress, was fired from the legal psychedelics company Red Light Holland after she expressed support for Palestinian causes in the war between the radical group Hamas and Israel.

On Sunday (October 7), Hamas carried out a surprise rocket attack in southern Israel and posted videos on social media of suspected Palestinian soldiers firing through the streets of the region. Mia commented, loosely translated: “Please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to turn their phones around and record horizontally.”

Red Light CEO Todd Shapiro responded to the comment about the employee’s firing with a post. “That’s a terrible tweet, Mia. Consider yourself fired immediately. Just disgusting,” commented Todd in a free translation.

Mia Khalifa made two posts linking the interaction to the company, explaining that she was from Lebanon and that she would not side with the colonizers, as well as criticizing an alleged “lack of direction from the company”.

Hamas said the action was motivated by Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem and on Palestinians in prisons.
