OPPO has announced that its Developer Conference 2023 (or ODC 23) will be the warm-up event for the official release of ColorOS 14, its first smartphone UI system based on ColorOS Android 14. The new update is expected to include a variant of Apple Dynamic Island, as well as other aesthetic and system improvements.
Developers attending the event will also be able to try out Pantanal and evaluate some of the components to make it the reference platform for connecting and integrating all types of devices, which OPPO claims to be hoping for. The device manufacturer’s ambitions for this new service would notably be to respond to NIO Link’s offer, except that it could be brand independent.
AndesGPT could be another highlight of ODC 23, working on both devices and in the cloud. OPPO will also showcase its own health research, which could come on stage with the launch of the OEM’s most advanced device in sleep tracking technology. The device maker’s most advanced activity and activities to date.
The start of the ODC is planned for November 16, 2023 at the Shanghai Expo Center.
