Danna Paola is in the public eye after it was revealed she could face a fine of more than 1 million pesos for her rendition of the Mexican national anthem ahead of the Jermell Charlo-Canelo Álvarez fight.
Although the singer received widespread praise for her performance, the applause has been overshadowed in recent days by criticism of the way she sang the song, since, according to musician Iván Cano Capetillo, the Mexican national anthem should be sung in the key of C -Dur, however, Danna Paola did it in G sharp and for this reason she could receive some sanction, as she explained on her TikTok account.

Given this scenario, Danna met the press waiting for her at the Mexico City airport and initially said she was pleased with the opportunity she had been given to sing the revered national symbol.
