Cauã Reymond is preparing a series for Globoplay that will address issues such as sexual harassment of youth football players. The production, titled “Mata Mata,” will also contain sex scenes and drug use sequences. The plot revolves around a former athlete who becomes a sports agent.

The series, described behind the scenes as a fusion between HBO’s The Idol and Netflix’s Dix Pour Cent, will be a drama with humorous elements.

Screenwriters

The production will initially consist of 12 episodes. Thiago Dottori (from the series “Psi” and the film “Turma da Mônica Laços”) is the editorinchief, while Lucas Paraizo, known for his work on “Sob Pressão” and “Os Others”, will take over as editorinchief. All scripts are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.

The director of the series has not yet been decided, and the dates for the start of recording have not yet been set.

Cauã Reymond can currently be seen as Caio in the soap opera “Terra e Paixão,” which airs on TV Globo at 9 p.m.
