Denise Austin, 66, shares her best “wellness” tip after proving she can fit into the same type of swimsuit she wore 30 years ago

Workout enthusiast Denise Austin has managed to stay very fit well into her sixties as she continues her daily workouts.

On Wednesday — which she calls “Wellness Wednesdays” — the 5-foot-11 star from San Pedro, California, posted a pin-up picture on Instagram that looked almost too good to be true.

The blonde beauty was slim and toned as she posed in a white swimsuit and sat on a chair with her legs tucked up.

The eye-catcher also gave her followers a wellness tip.

‘Tip!! It’s sooo important to take care of yourself FIRST!’ began the star, who has been married to Jeff Austin for 40 years.

“I know this doesn’t come naturally to many of you, but it will actually enable you to better serve those around you.”

“Don’t think that doing things for yourself is selfish because it is necessary!”

She then asked her fans for an answer.

“When is the last time you put yourself first, comment below…I look forward to hearing from you all!! And always remember: YOU are worth it!! Xoxo.’

This came after she shocked her fans with an incredible before and after photo composite that she shared on Instagram.

On the left she was seen in a white swimsuit from the 1990s.

And on the right she was seen in a very similar white swimsuit this year.

She looked equally amazing in both photos as she commented, “Then and now!!!!!” From cover to cover…the throwback photo is from a cover I shot in the 90’s…to the cover of Women’s World Magazine, which I was featured on this summer!

“I love full circle moments and this is definitely one of them!! Such wonderful memories and how grateful I am for the beautiful life and career I have been lucky enough to have!!!

“And it’s up to YOU… I love you all!!! The “Back then” photo was taken by Charles Bush, who was my dear photographer for over 25 years and did all of my covers for my VHS and DVDs. And the “now” photo was taken by my dear friend and amazing photographer Alex Jay!!!”

In June, she was spotted wearing the same pink swimsuit she first modeled on the beach 30 years ago.

‘FLASHBACK FRIDAY!!!! Wow!!!’ The Southern California resident began her caption.

“Time flies when you’re doing what you love!!!” “It’s so nostalgic for me to look back to 30 years ago when I wore this outfit while filming my TV show… “, added her.

“Here I am at 36 and now 66 and still feeling great!!! I am so grateful for my good health!! I love you all!! Xoxo.’

The siren also told fans that they can get a great summer body in the comfort of their own home and that it only takes 10 minutes a day.

She suggests exercising about three times a day for 10 minutes each, so 30 minutes of exercise throughout the day, but it’s also okay to start with just 10 minutes a day.

“Are you looking for a quick cardio boost today? I have one for you!! “This workout takes less than 10 minutes but is sure to get your blood pumping and burn some calories,” she began her message.

And she added: “The best part is you can do it right from home!”

“Start your day with some exercise and I promise you’ll feel great!” shared the ’80s icon, who still looks fabulous today.

The training included moving the feet from side to side and raising the arms. Every few steps the arms are moved up and to the side.

Austin is a fitness trainer, author and columnist, and a former member of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

The 5ft 4in beauty was born in San Pedro, California in 1957.

She has been married to Jeff Austin since 1983 and together they have daughter Katie Austin.

In May, she said she had been doing 30-minute workouts every day for 40 years.

The star explained that she does a variety of exercises throughout the week to stay strong and keep her heart in good shape.

And then she reminded others that there is “no excuse” not to do the same.

She told Fox News Digital: “That’s true – I’ve been doing 30-minute workouts for 40 years. “I’m a firm believer that you can do anything in 30 minutes.

“Some days a week I do 30 minutes of cardio to burn fat and work on (my heart) – it’s a muscle.”

“It could be a 30-minute walk outside… So there’s no excuse.”‘

Denise added that when her children were young, she would even do 30 minutes of exercise before the school run.

And she advised those who were having difficulty even breaking their exercises into smaller sections.

She added: “When the kids were little I woke up earlier [they] got up.

“Before I made them breakfast and sent them to school, I would do it…sometimes I would do it for 10 minutes in the morning or during the day.”

“You could do three 10-minute workouts. You could build up to 30 minutes a day, and that’s great too.”

On Memorial Day, she posed in a red swimsuit while standing in the entrance of a mansion.

“Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!!!” She began her note.

“I hope you all have a great time with your loved ones!! Do you have any special plans? Share them with me in the comments… I love connecting with you all!! Xoxo.’
