He wins $50 million at Lotto Max and will keep working!

A Montrealer who won $50 million in this weekend’s Lotto Max drawing has no plans to stop working for now.

The big winner, Pierre Richer, was back at work at 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, a few hours after he won the jackpot.

The man, in his 60s, had bought his ticket at a Montreal supermarket as he went shopping to prepare a Thanksgiving meal.

According to Loto-Québec, his wife and daughter discovered he had won $50 million by checking the ticket on their mobile application.

“The winner’s daughter screamed when she saw the amount won. The rest of the family thought they had seen a spider,” we read in a press release from the State Society.
