In addition to the support ships “RFA Argus” and “RFA Lyme Bay”, Great Britain sends a Boeing P-8 reconnaissance plane, several Merlin helicopters and a company of marines. Reconnaissance flights are expected to begin tomorrow to address threats to stability in the region, such as the transfer of weapons to terrorist groups, the statement added.

“Our military and diplomatic teams across the region will also support international partners in restoring security and ensuring that humanitarian assistance reaches the thousands of innocent victims of this barbaric attack by Hamas terrorists,” said British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, in a statement.
