Princess Eugenie shares an adorable family portrait as she celebrates her and Jack Brooksbank’s fifth anniversary with a slick wedding video

Princess Eugenie has shared an adorable new family portrait to mark her fifth wedding anniversary with Jack Brooksbank.

The granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II shared a chic wedding video on her Instagram account today to celebrate the special occasion.

In the previously unreleased clip, 33-year-old Eugenie shared touching moments from her big day, which took place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on October 12, 2018, as well as a more recent, candid family portrait.

The sweet snap – the first public image of the family of four together – showed Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter posing with her husband and their two children, two-year-old son August and four-month-old son Ernest, on a beach.

Eugenie and Jack were all smiles in the photo, which showed August adorably holding up his pebble-filled hands while baby Ernest was wrapped in a towel and carried by his loving mother.

“5 years ago today.. ❤️❤️,” Eugenie captioned the clip, set to “You’ve Got the Love” by Florence and the Machine.

It began with a countdown from five and progressed to shots of St. George’s Chapel, the Royal Standard blowing in the wind, the Rolls-Royce carrying the bride with her father, and the horse-drawn carriage driving Eugenie and Jack after the ceremony.

The video showed Princess Eugenie’s Peter Pilotto wedding dress on a mannequin and the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara being placed on her head before she went to church.

It also showed Jack getting ready for the big day, drinking a glass of champagne with friends, getting his boutonniere pinned and posing for photos.

The footage moved on to the wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel – Jack beamed as he watched his bride walk down the aisle alongside Prince Andrew.

The Duchess of York and Princess Beatrice were also filmed, looking on in admiration from their seats.

There was a close-up of Eugenie’s signature pink engagement ring and the newlyweds walking out with their page boys and flower girls – including Prince George and Princess Charlotte – in tow.

Eugenie and Jack could be seen sharing their first kiss as a married couple on the steps of the church before the film continued through a series of photos and moments such as the couple dancing at their wedding reception at the Royal Lodge, posing for a formal portrait etc. captured sharing a selfie.

The video ended with the first public image of Princess Eugenie and Jack as a family of four with their sons.

On her wedding day, Eugenie looked beautiful in a long-sleeved dress with an open back, dropped shoulders and a voluminous train, designed by London duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.

The fabric contained several embroidered symbols with meaning to Eugenie, such as a thistle recognizing her family’s Scottish ancestry, a shamrock for Ireland reflecting her maternal family, and the York rose.

Her dress had a low back to highlight the scar she had from surgery she had at age 12 to correct her scoliosis – a curvature of the spine.

Princess Eugenie has been working to raise awareness of the disease.

The bridal bouquet, created by Patrice Van Helden Oakes, featured lily of the valley, stephanotis seeds, baby blue thistles, white spray roses and ivy vines.

Eugenie wore the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, inherited from the late Queen Mother in 1942. It consisted of brilliant and rose cut diamonds set in platinum pavé, with six emeralds on either side.

She also wore matching diamond and emerald earrings that were a wedding gift from her husband.

Accompanied by her father, Prince Andrew, Eugenie arrived at the chapel in a 1977 Rolls Royce Phantom VI, the same car in which Kate rode at her wedding.

The Princess’s wedding party included her older sister Beatrice as her maid of honor, Princess Charlotte, Savannah Philips, Isla Phillips and Mia Tindall as flower girls, and Prince George as a page boy.

Eugenie styled her party in navy blue and ivory, with each flower girl and page boy wearing a green floral print sash.

The couple’s 800 guests in attendance included Sarah Ferguson, mother of the bride, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, as well as several of the couple’s celebrity friends.

Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple exchanged traditional vows, although Eugenie notably chose to leave out the part about obeying her husband – as Diana, Kate and Meghan had done at their weddings.

During the ring exchange, Jack placed a Welsh gold wedding band on his bride’s finger – a gift from the Queen – the metal having been used in royal wedding rings since the Queen Mother’s wedding in 1923.

The groom decided against a wedding ring and followed in Prince William’s footsteps.

During the hour-long service against the spectacular backdrop of Windsor Castle, the bride couldn’t stop smiling at her groom, but Jack seemed overwhelmed with emotion throughout.

Lip readers suspect that Mr Brooksbank had said to Eugenie: “You look perfect” as she arrived at the altar and that she had joked: “Won’t you hold my hand?” as she calmed his nerves.

Later there was a short carriage parade through Windsor to greet well-wishers before returning to Windsor Castle for a lunch hosted by the Queen.

In the evening, Prince Andrew hosted an elegant reception at the Royal Lodge, where guests were treated to a gourmet pizza cart and margaritas.

The couple traveled to the reception in a rare DB10 Aston Martin – one of eight made for the 2015 film Specter starring Daniel Craig.

While Eugenie looked stunning in her ceremony dress, she opted for a second champagne-colored silk dress for the evening. Designed by Zac Posen, the dress featured a full cape, long sleeves and pleated fabric.

The New York designer said he was inspired by the White Rose of York and even embroidered one on the shoulder and back of the dress to tie the cape detail together.

Eugenie paired the dress with Queen Victoria’s Wheat Ear Brooches – also lent to her by the Queen – part of the trio originally commissioned by William IV for Queen Adelaide in 1830.

The centerpiece of the reception was London baker Sophie Cabot’s five-tier wedding cake, which required around 400 eggs, at least 53 packets of unsalted butter, 15 kilograms of organic self-raising flour and 20 kilograms of sugar to make.

During a series of speeches, the Duke of York broke with royal tradition and hugged his new son-in-law in front of the Queen.

Jack’s speech was “full of devotion to Eugenie” and he told his new wife that she “brightens his life and makes him feel complete.”

The wedding itself and the two parties were paid for privately by the bride’s family, as were the flowers, entertainment and the dress. However, it is estimated that security that day cost the taxpayer £2 million.
