Next fall, several new Publix supermarkets will debut in the United States. By the way, one of the companies that will open its doors is in Florida and will be larger than usual.
The new sales center will be located in Lakeland, the supermarket chain’s headquarters, and will have an area of 54,000 square meters. Its footprint will be larger than that of other Florida-based companies; Typical stores are between 46,000 and 48,000 square feet.
Earlier this year, Publix opened a very similar sized store in Coral Springs, Broward. If you want to know where the new branches of the renowned supermarket chain will be located, read the list below carefully.
New Publix stores
The following stores are scheduled to open in the current month of October and next November. The one in Lakeland, Florida, opens November 9 at the Oakbridge Center, 3636 Harden Boulevard, Polk County.
Only seven days remain until a center opens in Spring Hill, Florida. The selected location is located at Hernando West Plaza, 1400 Pinehurst Drive, Hernando County.
Another store will open October 25th at 198 Foothills Mall in Maryville, Tennessee. Meanwhile, a Publix center in West Edge, Winston-Salem, North Carolina will begin operations on November 15th.
Publix is expanding in Florida
This relationship already offers services in Florida, an expected expansion of Publix in the American Southeast. There are already two stores in Miami-Dade, one in Hialeah and the other in West Kendall. The first offers products such as vegetables, fish, shellfish and meat. The location opened Aug. 31 at The Shoppes of Highland, 3685 W. 85 Path. The other center is located in the Crossings Shopping Village at 13001 SW 112 Street. The store is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and features a pharmacy, floral department and liquor store.
In Broward, Publix products are available at 3100 S. Ocean Drive, north of the Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood. The same goes for the Coral Springs (1285 N. University Drive) and Pemborke Pines (16024 Pines Boulevard) stores.
Finally, there are two Publix supermarkets in West Palm Beach. One of them is in Westlake (16841 Persimmon Boulevard) and the other is in Royal Palm Beach (1180 Royal Beach Beach Boulevard).
