Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ play once again lived up to expectations as he collected a touchdown pass and gained 306 yards through the air thanks to 30 completed passes in 40 attempts.
However, the same cannot be said for his counterpart on the Broncos (1-5), Russell Wilson. The first half was disastrous for the latter as he fell victim to three sacks and an interception. He recovered after the locker room and gave Courtland Sutton 11 yards for Denver’s only touchdown.
Wilson finished the game with 13 completions on 22 attempts for 95 yards.
The Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers on October 22nd. As for the Broncos, they will host the Green Bay Packers on the same day while trying to stop a streak of two straight losses.
