Overpriced tickets to see Connor Bedard in Saturday’s game against the Canadiens

Would you like to attend the phenom Connor Bedard’s first game against the Canadiens on Saturday in Montreal and don’t yet have your ticket for the game against the Blackhawks? Get ready to pocket your savings because the resellers have sniffed out a good deal.

As of Thursday morning, the cheapest pair of tickets available on Ticketmaster, the sales and resale platform used by the Canadian, cost $358.16 ($179.08 each).

And here is the view you will have from your seats:

And if you ever want to see the phenom up close at the Canadiens’ opening game, you’ll have to spend a lot more. You might be able to catch young Bedard’s attention during the game with a few available tickets, but they cost $4,235 per pair:

It should be noted that these are resale tickets and it was not the Canadian who asked for these prices.

But let’s assume that the Minnesota Wild’s visit to the Bell Center next Tuesday doesn’t generate the same buzz among retailers as that of the Chicago Blackhawks and their prodigy, who has a goal and an assist in two games so far in the NHL.

For this part you can buy a pair of tickets (at the heights of the amphitheater) for $118.

More expensive than Toronto

Even in Toronto, where the average ticket price at the time of official sale is the highest in the NHL, resellers are not trying to extort so much money with the arrival of the first pick of the last draft, even if that will cost something Toronto residents give a lot of money to see Bedard in action.

The latter will be in the Queen City on Monday and the price for a pair of tickets for this game between the Maple Leafs and the Blackhawks ranges from $349.46 to $3,374.

And in Colorado, where Bedard will face the Avalanche next Thursday, prices for two tickets are currently between 243 and 2,050 Canadian dollars.
